KNRC in SYRIA

Responding to the urgent needs in Syria, we, alongside the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC),
have been actively involved in humanitarian initiatives following a devastating earthquake.
Our collaborative endeavours have delivered vital relief assistance
in the form of emergency kits inclusive of generators, hygiene kits, and kitchen sets.

KNRC contributed to the IFRC Emergency Appeal by procuring a total of 10,000 kitchen sets,
which were distributed to 10,000 households, directly benefiting 42,244 people.
Additionally, the KNRC supported the deployment of 39 generators across five governorates.
These generators improved access to electricity for bakeries, water pumping stations,
and health facilities, indirectly benefiting a total of 4,990,171 people.
Furthermore, 8,101 hygiene kits were locally procured and distributed to affected families,
reaching a total of 46,289 people.
