KNRC in TÜRKİYE In the wake of the devastating earthquakes that struck Türkiye in early February 2023, The Republic of Korea National Red Cross (KNRC) has been actively collaborating with the Turkish Red Crescent (TRC), the largest humanitarian organization in Türkiye, to provide crucial support to those affected. Through our Joint Program with TRC, we have reached more than 601,000 individuals in the earthquake-affected areas. KNRC collaborated with AFAD, TRC, IFRC, GRC and JRC to support the most vulnerable earthquake victims living in container cities and remote rural areas in the five most affected provinces. We provided 26,689 household heaters to assist them to live in a safer and healthier environment during the harsh winter and rainy season.
